- $55,228 - $59,054 pro rata per annum + Super + Leave Loading + Salary Packaging
- Located in Marion, with some work in Adelaide City and outreach work
Relationships Australia SA (RASA) is a dynamic community services organisation that delivers a broad range of programs and services. The Support Worker is a fantastic opportunity to positively impact clients of Post Care Support Services. This role provides one-on-one support to young care leavers, in their home and/or community, offering individual lessons that cover material imperative for the transition to successful independent living. The position provides hands on, interactive learning, that will allow the young person to gain skills and knowledge that will help them to be successful with their future independence. The position works collaboratively with Case Workers / Counsellors and other Elm Place services such as Find & Connect and the Royal Commission Community based Support Service.
We are looking for someone to work a set number of hours per fortnight but we have flexibility in how it can be worked.
Essential
- Certificate IV in Youth Work (AQF level 4), or the requisite knowledge and expertise to achieve RPL for the qualification.
- Experience working with complex client matters.
- Experience in trauma informed practice.
- A DCSI - Child Related Employment Screening Clearance and National Police Clearance is essential and employment is not able to commence without current clearances.
Desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge and competencies appropriate to Social Work or Bachelor’s Degree (AQF Level 7) in Social Work
